control (9) to such an extent that the sound
reproduced will not be distorted yet .

5) If a microphone is connected, add its signal

with the control LEVEL (7) or (8) [for model
PAK-115MK2 only] and, if necessary, reduce
the level of the line signal with the LEVEL con-
trol (9) .

CAUTION!

 To prevent acoustic feedback, do

not hold the microphone towards the speaker
or too close to it . Feedback may also occur
when the volume is too high . In this case, re-
duce the microphone volume with the corres-
ponding control LEVEL (7) or (8) .

6) Adjust the sound as desired with the two con-

trols TREBLE (11) and BASS (12) .

7) With the control MASTER LEVEL (10), adjust

the desired overall volume . Only turn up the
control to such an extent that the sound repro-
duced will not be distorted . If the overload LED
CLIP (13) lights up, turn back the control ac-
cordingly . Then readjust the sound, if required .

8) After use, switch off the speaker system with

the POWER switch .
