
5 Operation
Switch on the controller with the POWER switch (5).
The control options are organized in a menu and can
be activated by means of the buttons MENU (1),
DOWN/UP (2) and ENTER (3). The following main
menu items are available:
1. SystemSet
basic adjustments
2. Auto Mode
automatic programme run
3. Sound Mode
sound-controlled change of
colour
4. dB Mode
sound pulse display
5. Hold Mode
permanent light
6. ReSet Mode
reset of units
7. Standby Mode
blackout
After switching on, the controller will shortly display the
version number before showing the last adjustment
selected. The operation is quite simple:
1) To return to the main menu, press the button MENU
until one of the menu items shown above will appear.
2) Select the desired menu item with the button
DOWN or UP and activate it with the button ENTER.
3) Activate a submenu item in the same way.
4) To return to the main menu, press the button MENU
(several times, if required).
5.1 Adjusting the number of tubes
To define, for example, the repetition rate of the run-
ning light effects, first adjust the number of RGBL-100T
tubes connected. For creating special effects, a differ-
ent number than the actual number of tubes can be
adjusted.
1) Press the button MENU (1) until the display (4)
shows “
1. SystemSet
”.
2) Press the button ENTER (3). The display will show
“

”.
3) Press the button ENTER. “
Set:
” and the current
adjustment will be displayed.
4) With the buttons DOWN and UP (2), adjust the
number of tubes connected. Confirm with the button
ENTER.
5.2 Operation without DMX control
For controlling the RGBL-100T units, first activate the
desired mode (items 2 – 7) in the main menu and then,
if required for the mode selected, the corresponding
effect variant in the submenu. Further operating steps
can be found in the description of the submenus.
