3 Setting into Operation
3.1 Inserting the batteries
For operating the wireless microphone,
two 1.5 V batteries of size AA are required.
•
Always insert (rechargeable) batteries
of the same type and always replace all
of them.
•
If the wireless microphone is not used
for a longer period of time, always re-
move the batteries to prevent damage
due to battery leakage.
1) To insert the batteries, seize the upper
part of the microphone and unscrew
the handle sleeve (4). Remove the
sleeve from the microphone to access
the battery compartment on the rear
side of the microphone.
2) Insert the batteries with the positive
and negative poles as indicated in the
compartment.
3) Once all settings have been made,
replace the handle sleeve and tighten
it.
Batteries must not be placed in
the household waste. To protect
the environment, always take
them to a special waste disposal,
e. g. collection container at your
retailer.
3.2 Switching on the microphone
Information on the display
To switch on the microphone, push the
switch (3) upwards to its stop. (In the
mid-position, the microphone is muted.)
The backlight of the display is activated
for a few seconds. The display shows the
following information:
