3.6 Muting the microphone
To prevent the microphone from pick-
ing up unwanted sound during speech
and music pauses, set the sliding switch
(3) to the mid-position; the muting sym-
bol will appear on the display as an
indication.
3.7 Keylock
The microphone is provided with a key-
lock to prevent inadvertent switch-off or
operation. To activate the keylock:
1) Keep the button SET (7) pressed for
approx. 3 seconds until the symbol on
the display changes from to . The
buttons are locked and it is not pos-
sible to switch off the microphone.
However, the microphone can still be
muted with the sliding switch (3).
2) To deactivate the lock, keep the but-
ton SET pressed for approx. 3 seconds
again until the symbol on the display
changes from to .
