8 Cleaning the Moving Head
Clean the lens and the colour filter at regular inter-
vals, depending on impurities caused by dust,
smoke or other dirt particles. Only this will ensure
that light is emitted at maximum brightness.
Before
you open the head, disconnect the mains plug
from the socket and let the unit cool down.
Only
use a soft, clean cloth and a glass cleaner. Then
carefully wipe the parts dry.
To clean the other parts of the housing, only use
a soft, clean cloth. Never use any liquid; it may leak
into the unit and cause damage.
