POSITIONING AND FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! The electric blanket must only be placed between
the mattress and the flat sheet and not on top of persons in
bed.
POSITIONING THE UNDERBLANKET
Open the folded underblanket and place it on your mattress, leaving room for pillows. Smooth out any
packing folds.
Lay the underblanket on the mattress without putting it underneath the pillows. Make sure that it is smoothly
spread out.
To finish dressing the bed, place the bottom / fitted sheet on top of the underblanket, then finish making the
bed as normal with a top sheet and duvet.
USE
WARNING! DO NOT use this appliance if there are visible
signs of damage.
WARNING! NOT suitable for children under the age of 3.
WARNING! This appliance is only to be used with the control
unit supplied with it. The reference of the control unit is
specified on the label sewn onto the appliance.
•
Insert the control connector (2) into the underblanket connector (1) to connect the control unit to the
underblanket. Ensure the control connector is pushed fully home until the locking catch engages.
•
Run the interconnection cord on the floor near the bed. Do not sandwich the interconnection cord
between the mattress and box spring. Avoid any tangling or pinching.
• Repeat the operation for the second control unit in the double bed model.
•
Plug power cord into the mains socket
Fig. [B]
•
Switch on your underblanket by positioning the switch on the back of the control unit (11) to ON (l). The
temperature setting (6) will default to the last one used.
PRE-HEAT:
to select the pre-heat setting, press the temperature button (9) until setting 6 is illuminated in
red on the temperature display (6). Your bed will be warm and cosy in a few minutes.
IMPORTANT: the
best way to test the temperature is to lie on the bed rather than using just your hand, which is
not sensitive enough and does not provide an accurate judgement of the temperature your body
needs.
ALL NIGHT USE:
for continuous use, do not set the temperature above level 5. Press the temperature
button (9) to select your preferred all night setting from 1 to 5. The temperature level will be illuminated in
orange on the temperature display (6). The higher the number, the warmer the bed.
1 OR 9 HOURS AUTO SHUT OFF TIMER:
the underblanket has an AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF TIMER.
