CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Always disconnect the appliance from the mains
supply before cleaning or performing maintenance.
CAUTION! Periodicaly verify that filters and the inlet opening
are not clogged.
CAUTION! DO NOT use solvents or other aggressive or
abrasive detergents in order not to damage the appliance
surfaces.
WARNING! Make sure all cleaned parts are completely dry
before reusing the appliance.
CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
• When necessary, clean the appliance with a damp cloth.
CLEANING THE MULTISURFACE BRUSH (10)
• With the motor on, rub the lower part of the brush with your hand to remove dust and
fluff, that will be directly vacuumed.
REPLACING THE DUST BAG (8d):
• replace the dust bag (8d) as soon as the dust bag full indicator (6b) turns red.
• due so promptly: this will prevent any suction loss, as well as an excessively full dust
bag from breaking.
ATTENTION! The dust bag full indicator can also go on due to a reduction in
suction caused by a large obstructing object. If so, switch the appliance off,
unplug it and remove the object from the vacuum cleaner.
Change the dust bag (8d) according to the instructions below and while paying attention to the figures
in the illustrative guide.
• Pull the dust bag compartment lever (6a) [Fig. E1].
• remove the dust bag compartment cover (6) [Fig. E2].
• remove the dust bag (8d) making it slide upwards [Fig. F1a].
• Change the dust bag (8d) with a new one [Fig. F1B].
• Put the new dust bag in (8d) taking care to slide it inside the guides (8e) [Fig. F1C] all the way in
and so that the safety interlock (8a) is in a vertical position.
• Fasten the dust bag compartment cover (6) to the appliance by inserting the lower part into its
guide [Fig. E2].
• Press the upper part of the dust bag compartment cover until it snaps into place, which indicates
that the dust bag compartment lever is properly locked (6a).
