CLEANING THE BOILER
WArNING! Make sure the plug of the appliance is
disconnected from the socket and the plate has
cooled down completely before cleaning the iron.
WArNING! The boiler must only be cleaned when cold.
NOTE: Failure to carry out this operation will make the warranty null and void.
•
DO NOT clean the boiler with detergents, descaling agents, vinegar or any other type of
substance.
• The boiler must be cleaned at least once a month or after having used it about ten
times.
• The boiler must only be cleaned when cold:
• Disconnect the plug (7) from the socket.
• Place the boiler on a wash basin.
• Completely loosen the safety cap (1)
• Empty the residual water from inside the boiler.
• Fill the boiler with 500 ml of clean water.
• Tighten the safety cap (1).
• Shake the base to help the limescale flakes detach.
• Empty the boiler once again by turning it upside down over the wash basin and let the
residual water drip together with the limescale flakes.
Any starch deposits or residue on the surface of the plate can be removed with a damp cloth
and non-abrasive liquid detergent.
Avoid scratching the plate with steel wool or metal objects.
The plastic parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth and then wiped with a dry cloth.
WArNING! Once cleaned, always fill the boiler with
water in order to prevent its overheating before using
it again.
WArNING! Once you have finished using this appliance,
make sure it has cooled down completely before putting
it away.
