OPERATION WITH BATTERIES
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
NOTE FOR ADULTS
Before giving the product to children, fi rst remo-
ve all plastic, wires and any other object desig-
ned to fasten it during transport.
This product comes factory-prepared for the
“try me” function. The batteries that it includes
are designed for this use. Therefore, it is possible
that they may be spent. If this is the case, they
should be replaced.
Installation and replacement:
This product requires 3 LR6 (AA) alkaline batte-
ries (included). To replace them, fi rst place the
switch located in the ignition key in the OFF posi-
tion (see Fig. 1). Remove the safety screw from the
battery cover located on the compartment in the
base (see Fig. 2), and remove the demonstration
batteries.
Check the diagram showing the correct battery
position (see Fig. 3), and install the LR6/AA bat-
teries that this product requires. Put on the co-
ver and secure with the screw for your children’s
safety.
Warning! Batteries must always be replaced or
handled under adult supervision.
Operation
Put the switch or ignition key in the LOW VOL
or HIGH VOL position, (see Fig. 1). The driving
toy consists of lights, sounds, a steering wheel,
blinkers, a horn, a gear shift lever, an ignition key
and many other devices that a child can handle
(see Fig. 4)(F).
If the sound volume drops or the lights do not
come on, this is an indication that the batteries
are spent and must be replaced.
Advice for correct usage
Caution!
MAINTENANCE
Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the equip-
ment. Do not use detergents or solvents. Should
the unit get wet, turn it off immediately and re-
move the batteries. Dry the battery compartment
with a dry cloth. Leave it open for approximately
12 hours so that it can dry completely. Do not try
to use the unit until it is completely dry.

as it contains very important information.

- This product requires 3, 1.5 V LR6/AA batteries
(included).
- This product is distributed with 3, LR6/AA batte-
ries for the “try me” function.
-For normal operation of the product, it may be
necessary to replace the batteries.
- This product operates exclusively with alkaline
batteries. Do not use saline batteries under any
circumstance.
- Take the batteries out of the compartment
when the unit is not going to be used for a long
period of time.
- Batteries must always be replaced or handled
under adult supervision.
- The battery terminals must not be short-circui-
ted.
- Non-rechargeable batteries must not be re-
charged.
- Rechargeable batteries should be recharged
under adult supervision.
- Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy
before being charged.
- You must only use the type of batteries recom-
mended by the manufacturer or the equivalent.
- Do not use new and used batteries together.
They should not be mixed.
- Used batteries should be removed from the toy
they could cause damage.
- Batteries should be inserted respecting the po-
larity illustrated in the diagram.
- Please be respectful of the environment, and
deposit spent batteries in the appropriate con-
tainers.
- Read the instructions before using. Follow them
and save them for future reference.
- The unit will malfunction if there is radio in-
terference in its operating range. It will operate
correctly when the interference stops.
- In case of electrostatic discharge, the unit may
malfunction and lose its memory, requiring the
user to reset it.
- The unit may malfunction if fast transients
occur, requiring the user to reset it.
- Remove all elements designed to fasten and
protect the product during transport before
giving it to children (plastic pieces, labels, wires,
etc.).
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR RESPONSIBLE USE AND
FOR PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
Put all the transport packaging, cardboard,
plastic, etc, in the recycling containers in your
neighbourhood.
Use rechargeable batteries whenever possible.
Remember to turn off the toy if you have fi nis-
hed playing with it and take out the batteries if
you are not going to be using it again for a long
time.
If you no longer want the toy and it still works, do
not throw it away. Remember that other people
can still enjoy it, and fi nd bodies or associations
that can give it to them.
At the end of the life span of this product, it must
not be disposed of as normal household rubbish.
It should be delivered to a collection point for re-
cycling electrical and electronic devices.
Consult the symbol on the product, in the user
manual or on the packaging for more informa-
tion.
The materials are recyclable in accordance with
their markings. If you recycle materials or fi nd
ways to reuse old devices, you make a considera-
ble contribution to protecting the environment.
Please consult the nearest recycling centre or lo-
cal authorities.
