Configuration and Operation

D using card-edge controls or
CCS-enabled software and hardware controls.

When setting the control parameters on the HUC6801
+
D, observe the following:
If you make changes to certain parameters, other related parameters may also be
affected.
When you change a parameter, the effect is immediate. However, the module requires
up to 20 seconds to save the latest change. After 20 seconds, the new settings are
saved and will be restored if the module loses power and must be restarted.
For proper operation, the output HD standard frame rate should match or double the
reference standard frame rate.
The manufacturer recommends that you terminate any unused coaxial output
connectors with a 75-
Ω
connector.
Re-clocking SD-HD Signals
In a normal upconversion operation, the D module conform to all specifications
set out in this manual. However, if you use re-lock output 1 (labeled
RCLK SD/HD OUT 1
) to
re-lock an HD-SDI signal (which puts the module into
Bypass
mode), the Return Loss
specification is typically 12 dB to 1.485 GHz.
