general saFetY InstructIons
Before turning on this appliance, carefully read this user manual and keep
it together with the warranty certificate, the receipt and, if possible, the
carton box.
If you give the appliance to third parties, hand over the user manual as
well.
• Use the appliance exclusively for domestic purposes and according to
the intended use. This product is not designed for industrial usage. Do
not use outdoors. Keep it away from heat as well as from the exposure
to solar rays, from humidity (never immerse it in liquids) and from sharp
objects. Do not use the appliance with damp hands. If the appliance gets
wet or damp, immediately unplug it.
• Deactivate the appliance and always remove the plug from the socket
(pulling from the plug and not by the cord) when the appliance is not in
use, when installing the accessories, for cleaning or if faults are detected.
• Do not operate the appliance without being monitored. If you walk out of
the room, always turn off the appliance. Remove the plug from the socket.
• Regularly make sure that the appliance and the cord do not show any
sign of damage. In this case the appliance must not be used.
• Do not try to repair the appliance; contact an authorised technician. To
replace the faulty power cord with a similar cord it is recommended to
contact the manufacturer, our technical assistance service or a similarly
qualified technician in order to avoid dangerous situations.
• Only use original accessories.
