This is a conventional stereo setup with two full-band loudspeakers.
2.1 ( Subwoofer)

This is a stereo setup with an additional subwoofer. A subwoofer may be
used to:
– Extend the bass of the left and right loudspeakers with bass management
(Chapter 7).
– Optimize bass reproduction when the left and right loudspeakers repro-
duce bass sub-optimally (due to the room and left/right loudspeaker positions).
– Reproduce the low frequency effects (LFE) channel of movie soundtracks.
