Part # 15050091 Rev. C
HiSeq X, use bcl2fastq v2.14.03.07, or later. For the current software version and download
information, see the HiSeq X support page on the Illumina website.
RTA v2 provides real-time metrics of run quality stored as InterOp files. InterOp files are
binary files containing tile, cycle, and read-level metrics, and required to view metrics in
Sequencing Analysis Viewer (SAV). For viewing metrics generated by RTA v2, use SAV
v1.8.37, or later.
For more information, see
RTA v2 Error Handling
RTA v2 creates log files in the RTALogs folder. If an error occurs, it is logged in a separate
error file in *.tsv file format. All log files are transferred to the final output destination at the
end of processing.
The following log files are generated when errors occur:
}
*GlobalLog*.tsv summarizes important run events.
}
*LaneNLog*.tsv logs processing events for each lane.
}
*Error*.tsv lists any errors that occurred during a run.
}
*WarningLog*.tsv lists warnings that occurred during a run.
Data Transfer
Throughout the run, RTA v2 automatically transfers data to the specified output folder
location. If BaseSpace is used, the BaseSpace Broker manages the transfer of data to
BaseSpace.
Make sure that your network connection meets the minimum required network connection
for transferring data to BaseSpace.
}
100 Mbps per HiSeq X instrument
}
1 Gbps per HiSeq X Ten system
For more information, see the
HiSeq X Lab Setup and Site Prep Guide (part # 15050093)
.
After processing is complete, RTA v2 creates a marker file called RTAComplete.txt. Data
transfer completes after this file is generated.
