If your Slides become Jammed
Bent or damaged slides may become jammed in the projection position.
Make sure the projector is disconnected from the mains supply, and
then remove the two retaining screws underneath the projector (9).
The top casting can now be lifted off, and the slide released by
hand.
Before you reassemble the projector, make sure the capping blade is
operating correctly.
If you are going to carry your Sportsview Projector when it is loaded
with a magazine containing slides, it must always be held in the normal
operating position. If it is carried on its side, or if it is shaken or
bumped about, the slides will come out of the magazine and jam the
mechanism.
Screens
A square screen with a matt white surface is the most suitable type
for use with the Sportsview Projector. By using a square screen, you
can show either vertical or horizontal slides without moving the
projector, and the matt white finish gives maximum brilliance for all-
round home use.
The following table gives the picture sizes you will obtain at various
projection distances. This will help you to select the most suitable
screen size for your purposes.
