15. Troubleshooting
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
Motor does not run Safety lock Tighten the hand screws well.
Power outage Check the power supply cable, the
plug and the fuse.
The material is not being pulled in The material is clogging up in the
feeding funnel. Shut down the shredder. Pull the
material out of the feeding funnel.
Restart the shredder and insert the
thick branches in such a way that
the blade does immediately catch
in the previous cut.
The shredding material is too soft. Put some wood in or shred dried
branches.
The blade is blocked. Unscrew the hand screw. Open the
shredder and remove the material
causing the clog.
