At 30 nm from the destination airport,

the MSG annunciator will flash.

Press

MSG

. The display will ask if you

want to “Enable approach.” Press

ENT

to enable the Approach operation. The

Approach annunciator will light and the

CDI sensitivity will automatically scale

gradually from 5 nm to 1 nm full scale

per side.

PUSH ENT TO

enabled the selected approach. You will

now be prompted to enter the local

altimeter setting. Turn the

to change the barometric pressure
