disconnecting the electrical power.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. 

Shut OFF the gas supply to the appliance.

2. 

Disconnect the power supply at the circuit breaker.

3. 

Remove the bezel (if installed) by gently pulling out the lower edge of the bezel to 

detach it from the lower edge of the glass door frame. Then, swing the lower edge 

of the bezel away from the door, and lift up to unhook the bezel upper flange from 

the top edge of the glass door frame (see Figure 1).

4. 

Remove the optional surround (if installed) by removing the nine (9) screws 

securing it (see Figure 2).

5. 

Remove the three (3) screws 

securing the lower edge of the glass 

door assembly to the fireplace. 

6. 

Grasp the glass door assembly by 

the sides, swing out the lower edge, 

and then lift up to unhook it from the 

fireplace. Take care not to damage 

the glass. Set aside the screws and 

door assembly in a secure location 

for later reinstallation (see Figure 3).

7. 

Remove the media (if installed), 

following the instructions provided 

with the Media Kit.

8. 

Remove the two (2) 5/16 in. screws 

securing the burner to the burner 

brackets   (see Figure 4).

9. 

Carefully slide the burner to the left, 

to clear the venturi from the orifice. 

Then, rotate the burner to release 

the air shutter adjustment rod from 

the air shutter lever (see Figure 5). 

Set aside the screws and burner 

assembly in a secure location for 

later reinstallation.

10. 

Remove the control compartment 

access door and gasket by removing 

the twelve (12) screws securing 

them. Set aside the screws for later 

reinstallation (see Figure 4).
