INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: PORCELAIN PANELS

 CAUTION

INSTALL ONLY WHEN FIREPLACE IS OFF AND COLD!

1.  Turn OFF the gas to the fireplace (refer to the lighting label in the 

fireplace control compartment or the fireplace Installation Instruc-

tions).

2.  Remove the glass enclosure panel (refer to the fireplace Care and 

Operation Instructions).

3.  Carefully remove the logs and place them in a secure location for 

later reinstallation.

4.  Pull the ember material away from the firebox rear and side walls.

5.  Insert the Back Panel into the firebox, and position it against the rear 

firebox wall (Figure 3).

6.   Install the Right Side Panel:

a. Carefully insert the Right Side Panel into the right side of the 

firebox (see Figure 3)

b. Engage the locking hem on the Side Panel with the locking flange 

on the Back Panel (Figure 2)

c. Make sure the front edge of the Side Panel is flush with the front 

edge of the fireplace, and then secure the panel with two (2) of 

the provided screws (Figure 3)

7. Repeat Step 6 for the Left Side Panel.

8.  Remove the two (2) screws in the rear of the firebox (as shown in 

Figure 3), install the Rear Panel, and secure using the two removed 

screws.

9.  If desired, use high-temperature paint to touch up the screw heads 

securing the panels.

10. [PORCELAIN PANELS ONLY]: Use non-ammoniated glass cleaner 

and a soft, non-abrasive rag to remove fingerprints and smudges 

from porcelain panels.

11. Carefully replace the logs; restore the ember material to its original 

position; and reinstall the front glass enclosure panel (refer to the 

fireplace Care and Operation Instructions or Installation Instructions).
