Listening to non-docking iPod or other audio devices

If you are using an iPod without a docking port or other MP3 player or portable audio device, you can play it through the iH64
via the Line-in Jack.
1.  Plug one end of an audio cable (

available at www.ihomeaudio.com

) into the headphone or line-out jack on your device

and the other end of the audio cable into the iH64 Line-in Jack.

2.  Press the     Button to turn the iH64 on.
3.  Press the     or       Buttons to adjust the system volume. You may need to adjust your device volume, too.
4.  Press the     Button to turn the iH64 off. Please remember to turn off your device, too.

Note: do not connect and play

an external audio device while a docked iPod is playing or you will hear both audio signals.

Syncing your iPod to a Computer through iH64

The iH64 allows you to sync your docked iPod with a computer directly from the iH64 without removing the iPod.
1.  Plug the USB cable into a powered USB port on your computer and the other end to the iH64’s USB port located on the

back of the main unit.

2.  Make sure the iPod is properly docked. Press the iPod Sync Button located on the top of iH64. A green LED under the

iPod Sync Button will light up to indicate computer sync mode is active.  The unit will take a few seconds to start syncing
with iTunes. When an iPod is syncing, DO NOT undock your iPod or press the iPod Sync Button. During computer sync
mode, you cannot control your iPod through the iH64 remote.

3.

Once syncing is completed, you must eject your iPod through iTunes before pressing the iPod Sync Button to

exit sync mode

.

Changing the Speaker Panels

Operating the Remote On/Off Switch

The iH64 comes with 3 pairs of detachable speaker panels (one is already installed).
1.  Pull out the speaker panel from speaker to remove the speaker panel.
2.  To replace the speaker panel into the speaker, simply line up the panel and press firmly

into place. Make sure the panel is placed properly so it does not vibrate.

To save battery power, switch the

Remote On/Off Switch

on the bottom of the main unit

to Remote Off. Doing so disables the remote control. The switch will not function while using
the AC adaptor.

When an iPod is syncing, DO NOT undock your iPod OR press the Sync Button
