HiP99 display

Setting Up the HiP99

Attach Rear Cover After Staff  Adjusts These Control Settings and Functions:

 

Access to the power supply jack, time zone and clock and calendar settings and room volume is on the rear of the unit. 
Attach the rear cover using the thumbscrew once these settings are complete to prevent tampering. Remove cover for any 
future adjustments and reattach once adjustments are completed..

Connect HiP99 to Power Source

 

Plug the AC adaptor cable into the 

AC Adaptor Jack

 and the other end into a standard 120 VAC wall socket. Adaptor 

must be plugged in to operate. 

The HiP99 does not operate on batteries.

Setting the Clock Time

This unit is a 

PRESET Clock/Radio;

 the clock is already preset at the factory. You just need to set the time zone for your 

location.

1.  Depending on your location and whether or not Daylight Saving Time (DST) is in effect, set the 

DST Switch

 located on 

the back of the unit to +1 to add an hour or to -1 to subtract an hour or use the AUTO setting.

2. Set the 

DST Switch

 to AUTO to have the unit automatically adjust the time at the beginning and end of Daylight Saving 

Time each year.

3.  Press and hold the 

Time Zone Button

 located on the back of the unit. The Time Zone Indicator at the lower part of the 

display flashes the current time zone. Turn the 

Set Wheel

 to select your time zone. 

4. Press 

Time Zone Button

 again (or no button within 10 seconds) to exit the setting mode.

5.  If the time showing is not correct, please see 

Setting Time and Calendar

 to set the clock.

1.  Press and hold the 

Clock Adjust Button

 located on the back of the unit until the time blinks on the display. 

 Turn 

the 

Set Wheel

 to adjust to correct time. Remember to set the correct 

AM

 or 

PM

 

time

.

2. Press the 

Clock Adjust Button

 again. The year will blink. Turn the 

Set Wheel 

until the current year is displayed. 

3. Press the 

Clock Adjust Button

 again to adjust month and date. Turn the 

Set Wheel

 until the current month/date is 

displayed.

4. Press the 

Clock Adjust Button

 again (or no button within 10 seconds) to exit the setting mode. 

Room Volume

1. Slide the 

Volume Switch

 located on the back of the unit to High for large rooms or to Low for smaller rooms.

Battery Low Indicator

AM/PM Indicator

Wake to Indicator:
iPod, Radio, Buzzer
