CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before attempting any cleaning or maintenance on the appliance, allow it to cool
completely and ensure that it is switched off and disconnected from the power
supply.
Wipe the outside of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. A mild detergent may be
used if necessary. Dry with a cloth. Do not use any harsh abrasives or solvents.
Never immerse this appliance in water or any other liquid.
It is also recommended to periodically clean the grilles by lightly running a
vacuum cleaner nozzle over them. This will remove any dust or dirt that may
have accumulated inside or on the unit.
If the appliance is not going to be used for a long period of time, wrap the cable
around the integrated cable storage and store the appliance in a dry place.
Note:
Storing the appliance in a damp environment could cause the unit to rust
and/or could affect the electronics in the appliance.
OPERATING THE APPLIANCE
• Fix the heater securely to the wall according to the mounting instructions
above.
• Plug the unit into a power socket. Do not to use the same electrical socket
as another high wattage electrical appliance in order to avoid overloading the
circuit.
• Turn the thermostat knob fully in a clockwise direction to gain the maximum
setting.
• When the desired room temperature has been reached, the thermostat knob
should be turned slowly anti-clockwise until the thermostat is heard to click
off, and the light is seen to go out.
• After this the heater will keep the air temperature in the room at the set
temperature by switching on and off automatically.
• In its minimum (fully anti-clockwise) position, the thermostat provides a frost
guard position. In this position (depending on the size of the room) the heater
will maintain the temperature above freezing.
