Locate your Fridge freezer away from sources of heat e.g. cookers, radiators, direct sunlight as extreme

temperatures will effect how efficiently your freezer works.

Also avoid direct sunlight as it may increase the electrical consumption, extreme cold ambient temperatures

may also cause the unit not to perform properly. The fridge freezer is not designed for use in a garage or

outdoor installation; do not drape the unit with a covering.

Never place the fridge freezer in a wall recess or fitted cabinets or furniture as this will not allow adequate

ventilation and cause a potential fire hazard. When installing the unit, ensure that 100mm of free space at

the rear of the product and adequate clearance on each side and over the top.

Use whichever dimensions suit your installation requirements best.

Providing you follow the recommended ventilation requirements you will:

Increase the life of the Fridge freezer.

Minimise the risk of condensation on the outside of the product.

Minimise the running costs.

Minimise operating noises caused by vibration.

Levelling

Once the refrigerator is positioned in its final location, it can be leveled using the adjustable feet at the front

of the unit until they are firmly placed on the floor. Correctly leveling the fridge freezer will stop any rocking or

vibration and keep the door aligned which helps the freezer run reliably and efficiently.

Door Fitting

The unit door can be fitted to open to either the left or the right depending on the location. The appliance

must be tilted and supported in order to carry this out. It is therefore advisable to get some help during this

procedure. Take care when fitting and tightening screws.

1.  To access the lower hinge assembly, tilt back the Fridge freezer cabinet or lay on its back.

2.  Remove  both  legs  located  at  the  front  of  the  cabinet;  adjustable  leg  on  hinge  side,  fixed  leg  on

opposite side.

3.  Remove the screws holding the lower hinge assembly to the cabinet.

4.  Remove the main door assembly from the refrigerator cabinet (open door and pull down)

5.  Remove  the  screws  from  the  middle  hinge  assembly,  remove  the  hinge  and  freezer  door  and  turn

the middle beam over 180 degrees

6.  Remove the top hinge pin

7.  Re-install the top hinge pin on the opposite side of the cabinet

8.  Remove the door plugs and door bushings located on the top and bottom of each door.

9.  Interchange positions of plugs and bushings on both doors(i.e. door plug right side, door bushing left

side)

10.  Re-install freezer door assembly on cabinet
