The following recommendations increase the
recognition rate:
u
Place the object (3) in the field of view (2).
u
Remove other objects from the field of view.
u
For objects with shiny surface:
•
slightly tilt the device (1) or
•
use the polarisation filter*.
u
Clean the front lens of the unit (1).
u
Observe the notes on installation (
* Only available for O2D51x devices.
11.1 Over temperature protection
To protect the hardware, the unit is equipped with over temperature protection.
This may become active in the case of:
•
a high ambient temperature
•
a high frame rate
•
a long exposure time
If the over temperature protection is active, no images will be captured. The over temperature
protection will be deactivated as soon as the internal temperature of the device has decreased.
