5.1 SELECT DIMMERCURVE
After activation of the Del T menu the display show
C-(x). X will show the active curve. The EC dimmer
recognizes 8 curves. The curve selection is a global
setting and cannot be set for each channel
individually.
Via the U key the number after the C can be
incremented to the value, dimming curve needed.
Dimmer curves available are:
0 = s-log curve *
1 = linear
2 = square
3 = fluorescent
4 = TV light
5 = future use
6 = future use
7 = future use
* Factory default is the S-log curve.
5.2 DMX 512 BACK-UP FACILITY
This menu behaves like a dipswitch setting. Each
channel represents a switch. If the channel LED is
on it represents an on state. Normally if the DMX
data fails the control value is set to zero after 30
seconds. The following functions can be selected:
Channel one:
Disable (off), Enable (on)
The last valid data will be retained.
Channel two:
Disable (off), Enable (on)
If the DMX signal fails the backup scene will be
activated. To program this scene, make the desired
setting by means of a DMX signal. Then turn on
channel two and leave the menu with the “H” button.
This scene is now recorded.
Channel three:
Disable (off), Enable (on)
Exhibition mode. This means that a setting can be
made with the channel buttons, and automatically
recorded after 60 seconds.
This menu can be left by pressing the “H” button.
6. DEL-U MENU SETTINGS*

6.1 SERIAL COMMUNICATION
The Del U menu controls parameters for SERIAL
communication with a PC. This menu is a dipswitch
menu. To enter the Del U menu, press the Del and
U key over 5 second simultaneously. Each channel
represents an on state. The following functions,
parameters can be altered.
Channel one : Enable (on) Disable (off)
Communication
Channel two : Enable (on) Disable (off)
Monitor data transfer
Channel three : Enable (on) Disable (off)
Bi-directional serial control
Channel four : Enable (on) Disable (off)
Error monitoring
Channel five : Enable (on) Disable (off)
Error monitoring
Channel five : Enable (on) Disable (off)
Currently not used
Channel six : Enable (on) Disable (off)
Currently not used
When the Del U menu is activated and the serial
communication is enabled the display will show the
valid information about the PC-communication
address. Default value for the PC is 00. This
address must be a unique number and is not related
to the DMX address. To set the PC address use the
H, T, U buttons.
