IDE Master and IDE Slave
When entering setup, BIOS auto detects the presence of IDE devices. The
Standard
CMOS Features
menu shows the status of the auto detected IDE devices. The following
IDE devices are detected and shown in the
Standard CMOS Features
menu:

IDE Secondary Master
IDE Secondary Slave
IDE device configurations are changed or set in the IDE Configuration menu. If an IDE
device is detected, and one of the above listed two BIOS configuration options is selected,
the IDE configuration options shown in
Drive A/B [1.44M, 3.5in]
Use the
Drive A/B
configuration to specify the floppy drive type installed in the system.
The floppy drive configuration options are:
None
360K, 5.25 in.
1.2M, 5.25 in.
720K, 3.5 in.
1.44M, 3.5in (Default)
2.88M, 3.5 in.
Video
Use the
Video
option to select the CRT screen type the system connects to. The video
configuration options are:
EGA/VGA

MONO
