3.6 M.2 Module Installation 

The M.2 slot is keyed in the B position and provides mounting screw position for 2242-size 

M.2 module. To install an M.2 module, please follow the steps below. 

Step 1: 

Remove the top cover from the PUZZLE-M801 (refer to 

Section 3.2

)

Step 2: 

Locate the M.2 slot on the motherboard. 

 

 

Step 3: 

Remove the on-board retention screw.

 

Step 4: 

Line up the notch on the module with the notch on the slot. Slide the M.2 module 

into the socket at an angle of about 20º. 

Step 5: 

Push the M.2 module down and secure it with the previously removed retention 

screw.
