Before and during the installation of the PM-US15W DO NOT:

Remove any of the stickers on the PCB board. These stickers are required for
warranty validation.
ƒ
Use the product before verifying all the cables and power connectors are
properly connected.
ƒ
Allow screws to come in contact with the PCB circuit, connector pins, or its
components.
4.2.2 Installation Checklist
The following checklist is provided to ensure the PM-US15W is properly installed.

All the items in the packing list are present
ƒ
A compatible memory module is properly inserted into the slot
ƒ
The CF Type I or CF Type II card is properly installed into the CF socket
ƒ
The jumpers have been properly configured
ƒ
The PM-US15W is inserted into a chassis with adequate ventilation
ƒ
The correct power supply is being used
ƒ
The following devices are properly connected

IDE drives
o
RS-232 devices
o
RS-422/485 devices
o
Keyboard and mouse
o
LAN
o
LCD backlight
o
Power
o
LVDS LCD screen
o
USB port
