Chapter 1: Getting Started
The ViVOpay VP8800 is an all-in-one card reader that can accommodate contact EMV, magstripe,
and contactless (NFC) payments, while offering PIN pad (chip-and-PIN) capability and electronic
signature capture. It is designed to integrate easily with existing POS systems and requires minimal
counter space at checkout stands.
The ViVOpay VP8800 is a PCI -certified, SRED-compliant counter-top reader featuring RS-232
(serial), Ethernet, and USB 2.0 communications to POS systems.
The ViVOpay VP8800 includes support for the following contactless payment applications:
