Installing and removing RAM
Each iDOT Explora motherboard features two DIMM slots that
support up to 512 MB total memory, utilizing 3.3V PC100-compliant
SDRAM modules ranging from 8 MB to 256 MB. You can install
SDRAM modules in any DIMM bank, in any combination — no
memory configuration table is necessary.
The iDOT Explora uses one of two motherboard designs, depending
on what processor you ordered with your system.
If your iDOT Explora includes a Cyrix ® MII ™ processor, an
AMD

K6-2
®
processor, or an AMD K6-III
®
processor, refer
to the illustration on this page.
If your motherboard uses the Intel ® Celeron ® processor, refer to
the illustration on page 23.
