TROUBLESHOOTING
Note: The motion of the Tabletop is fully controlled by user interface with switches,
buttons and a hand actuated brake release. In the event of a loss of these motions it is
expected that the tabletop will remain stationary without any unwanted movement.
Problem/Symptom
Possible Cause
Remedy
1. Table controls
are not functioning.
1. No Power.
2. Battery is depleted.
3. Emergency Stop
Pushbutton engaged.
4. Tabletop Motion
Control Panhandle
Switches disabled.
5. Control connection.
6. Electromagnetic
Interference.
7. Actuators uncalibrated.
1. Check electrical outlet.
2. Connect to AC Power.
3. Reset Emergency Stop Pushbutton.
4. Reset Panhandle Switch Lockout
Pushbutton.
5. Service Control connections.
6. Refer to Section 5 of this manual.
7. Reinitialize Actuator Controller with
Handset Control.
2. Lateral and
Longitudinal Brakes
stuttering or
sticking.
1. Table has been dormant
for extended length of
time.
2. Contamination on brake
surfaces, or improper
cleaning or maintenance
performed.
1. Release brakes using Tabletop
Motion Control Panhandle and move
tabletop in all directions. Working
tabletop motions may free dragging.
2. Clean brake surfaces according to
Service Manual.
3. Lateral and
Longitudinal Brakes
not releasing.
1. No Power.
2. Emergency Stop
Pushbutton engaged.
3. Battery is depleted.
1. Check electrical outlet.
2. Reset Emergency Stop Pushbutton.
3. Connect to AC Power Outlet.
4. Longitudinal
Brakes not
releasing.
1. Emergency Stop
Pushbutton engaged.
2. Tabletop Motion
Control Panhandle not in
level Trendelenburg
position.
3. Tabletop does not stop
at Trendelenburg Level
position.
1. Reset Emergency Stop Pushbutton.
2. Move Tabletop to level
Trendelenburg position.
3. Service Trendelenburg Rocker
Switch.
