Equipment Maintenance and Service
Tester Inspection
Do not use if tester appears damaged. Visually inspect the tester to ensure receiver
and transmitter cases are not cracked.
Battery Inspection/Replacement
Inspect the battery compartment monthly for any signs of degradation. Low battery
voltages will cause inaccuracies in readings. Remove the batteries for storage
or if the tester will not be used for longer than one month. Battery leakage will
compromise the safety of the tester and cause irreparable damage to internal
components.
