Requirements
• Host computer with an available USB Type-C
®
port (To ensure full dock functionality, the host USB Type-C
®
port
must support USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort™ Alt Mode or Thunderbolt™ 3/4).
Note: The DockingStation can still connect to a host computer with a USB Type-C
®
port that does
NOT support Power Delivery (but must still support DisplayPort™ Alt Mode). In this configuration, the
DockingStation will NOT power your host computer.
• HDMI

and DisplayPort™ enabled display(s) with cables as needed (for additional external displays)
• 4K-capable displays are required to achieve up to 3840x2160@30/60 Hz resolution (DP 1.4).
• To reach the maximum supported resolutions, your host computer must at least support DisplayPort™ 1.4.
• Any of the following operating systems: Windows

, macOS

USB Type-C
®
Not all USB Type-C
®
ports support the full functionality of the USB Type-C
®
standard. Some ports might only
provide data transfer and might not support video or Power Delivery over USB.
To use this dock to its full potential, ensure that the host USB Type-C
®
port of your computer supports DisplayPort™
Alt Mode as well as USB Power Delivery or Thunderbolt™ 3 / 4.
Starting up
1. Plug in the power supply
2. Connect the USB Type-C
®
to Type-C
®
cable to the supported USB Type-C
®
host interface of your
computer and to the USB Type-C
®
host interface of the dock.
Note:
Please check the manual of your notebook or the support hotline of your notebook manufacturer if the host
USB Type-C
®
port supports USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort™ Alt Mode or Thunderbolt™ 3 or 4.
