Connecting the Display Unit to the Receiver Unit
The display cable consists of six twisted pairs. These should be connected to the
corresponding terminals on the NAV6 receiver module as shown below:

The diagram on the next page shows the wiring for a typical NAV6 system.
Note: The PRN Tx and PRN GND are termination positions only and are not used internally by
the receiver.
Note: The blue and black wire pair from the Display Unit is not used with the eNAVTEX V3
Receiver but can be used as NMEA A and NMEA B inputs respectively if the Display Unit is being
used as an instrument repeater only.
Note: The eNAVTEX V3 Receiver has an internal termination link fitted as standard between
terminals 4 and 5. This must be fitted for all single display system configurations. An optional
external link can be fitted as shown. The internal link must be removed if two displays are to be
connected.
