2. Configuring the ET-7000
Before using the ET-7000, the following settings must be configured:

Network settings
: IP, Mask, and Gateway of ET-7000.

Configuring the Network settings of ET-7000 correct makes it works well.
2.1. Configuring the network settings
To configure the network settings of ET-7000, MiniOS7 utility is used to set the Ethernet
addresses via the Ethernet environment.
2.1.1. Using the “MiniOS7 Utility”
The MiniOS7 Utility is used to download files to the ET-7000 module and update the OS
image. It is also used to configure the network settings.
Step 1
: Refer to
Sec. 1.5.2
for details regarding wiring connections for ET-7000 series
modules.
Step 2
: Install the MiniOS7 Utility on the host PC by executing
CD:\NAPDOS\ET7000\Tools\Tools for MiniOS7\
MiniOS7_utility\MiniOS7_Utility.exe and follow the on-screen instructions
Note:
The
Init/Normal
switch is always placed in the
Normal
position.
