Programming a memory channel
[EXAMPLE]: Programming 145.800 MHz into memory channel 20 (blank channel).

VFO settings, including the set mode contents such as sub-
audible tone frequency, offset, scan skip information can be
programmed into a memory channel.

Set the desired frequency in the desired band (left or right).

Push the desired band’s [VFO/MR•S.MW] once or twice
to select VFO mode.

Set the frequency using the same band’s [DIAL].

Set other data (e.g. tone frequency, duplex information,
etc.) if required.

Push and hold the same band’s [VFO/MR•S.MW] for
1 sec. to enter select memory write mode.

” indicator and the memory channel number blink.

Rotate [DIAL] to select the memory channel to be pro-
grammed.
• Memory channels not yet programmed are blank.

Push and hold [VFO/MR•S.MW] for 1 sec. to program.
• 3 beeps sound
• Memory channel number automatically increases when contin-
uing to push [VFO/MR•S.MW] after programming.
