2. Control Method 

 

Tuning operation works as below. (See Chart-2: Timing Chart) 

 

1. Push and hold [TUNER(9)] keypad. 

2. ”START” line turns from “H” to “L” for 500ms. 

3. After approx. 300ms passed from “START” turned to “L”, AT-140 turns “KEY” line to “L”. 

(Tuning operation start) 

4. When “KEY” line turned to “L”, F8100 transmits a 10W signal on CW mode. 

5. ”KEY” line turned “H” for 200ms after 20ms from the tuning operation has done, F8100 

interprets that the tuning operation succeeded then “T” icon shows up on F8100 display. On 

the other hand, “KEY” line turned “L” for 200ms after 20ms from the turning operation has 

done, F8100 interprets that the tuning operation failed.
