Always disconnect the appliance from the
power outlet and let it cool down completely
before cleaning.
1. Never immerse the kettle, power cord or
power base in water, or allow moisture to
come into contact with these parts.
2. Wipe the surface of the appliance with a
damp cloth or mild soapy solution, never
use a vigorous cleaner.

gloss loss.

stored, the power cord can be wound
under the bottom of kettle.

Your kettle should be descaled at regular
intervals. Regular descaling extends the life
of the kettle. Mineral deposits from tap water
may form scale on the bottom of kettle and
make it less efficient. Use a household
descaling agent and follow the instructions on
the package of descaler. Alternatively, you may
follow the instructions as below to use the
white vinegar.
1. Fill the kettle with 1 dl of white vinegar or
2 dl of vinegar essence, then add 6 dl of
water. Leave the solution in the kettle
overnight.
2. Then discard the mixture in the kettle,
filling the kettle with clean water, boiling
and then throw it away. Repeat several
times until the odour of vinegar has been
flushed away. Any stains remaining inside
the spout can be removed by rubbing with
a damp cloth.
