USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER:
1.  Open the top cover and fill the water tank

with fresh water. The water level should

not exceed the MAX level as indicated on

the water level gauge. Close the top cover

after filling with water.

2.  Hold the side of the funnel and open it out.

Then insert the filter into the funnel and

make sure everything fits properly. Pour

coffee powder into filter. Usually a cup of

coffee needs one level spoon of coffee

powder, but you may adjust according to

personal taste. Then replace the funnel.

Make sure it is fitted properly, otherwise

the top cover cannot be closed. Finally,

close the top cover.

3.  Place the carafe on the warming plate.
4.  Plug the power cord into the outlet.
5.  Press the power switch down, the indicator

will light up. The appliance will begin

working.

NOTE: The appliance will shut off

automatically after being in operation

continuously for 40 minutes.

6.  The brewing process can be interrupted at

any time by pressing the power switch

again. The appliance will continue brewing

once the power switch is pressed again.

NOTE: You can take out the carafe, pour

and serve at any time. The appliance will

stop dripping automatically. But the time

cannot exceed 30 seconds.

7.  Take out the carafe and serve the coffee

when the brewing process has finished

(about one minute after the coffee stops

dripping out.)

NOTE: The amount of brewed coffee

obtained will be less than the water you

have added, as some water is absorbed by

the coffee powder. DO NOT TOUCH the top

cover, warming plate and so on when

operating as they become very hot.

8.  When the brewing process has finished,

the appliance will switch to warming mode

and shuts off automatically after being

operated continuously for 40 minutes.

9.  Always turn the coffee maker off and

disconnect the power supply when not in use.

NOTE: Exercise caution when pouring out

the coffee to avoid injury as freshly brewed

coffee is very hot.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

CAUTION: Be sure to unplug the appliance

before cleaning. To protect against electrical

shock, do not immerse cord, plug or appliance

in water or liquid. After each use, always make

sure the plug is first removed from wall outlet.
1.  Clean all detachable components after

each use in hot, soapy water.

2.  Wipe the appliance’s exterior surface with

a soft, damp cloth to remove stains.

3.  Water droplets may build up in the area

above the funnel and drip onto the

appliance base during brewing. You may

need  to  wipe the area with a clean, dry

cloth after each use.

4.  Use a damp cloth to gently wipe the

warming plate. Never use abrasive

cleaners to clean it.

5.  Replace all components and set aside for

next use.

REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS:

To keep the coffee maker operating efficiently,

regularly remove any mineral deposits that

have built up according to the water quality

and frequency of use. Descale the coffee

maker by following the instructions below.
Do as follows:
1.  Fill the water tank with water and

descaling agent to the MAX level as

indicated on the water level gauge (follow

the instructions on the packing of the

descaling agent regarding the quantity of

descaling agent to be used). If you do not

wish to use a descaling agent for house-

hold use, you can use citric acid which is

available in grocery stores. Use one

hundred parts of water to three parts

citric acid.

2.  Make sure there is no coffee powder in

the filter.

3.  Press the power switch down. The

indicator will be light up. The appliance

will begin working.

4.  Brew about two cups of coffee.
5.  Press the power switch again to stop the

appliance immediately. Allow the descaling

agent to remain in the appliance for at

least 15 minutes.

6.  Restart the appliance and repeat steps

4-6 at least three times.

7.  Run two more brewing cycles with fresh,

cold water to remove any remaining

descaling agent. You do not need to

interrupt the brewing and wait, steps 4-6,

for cleaning from descaling residues.
