11. Do not use the appliance for other than the intended use and
place it in a dry environment.
12. Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being
used near children.
13. Disconnect the appliance by turning all controls and power
switch to “Off”, then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
14. Do not use the coffee maker without water.
15. Never use the appliance if the carafe shows any signs of cracks.
Only use the carafe with this appliance. Use carefully as the
carafe is very fragile. The carafe is not suitable for use in
refrigerators, freezers or dishwashers.
16. Scalding may occur if the cover is removed during the brewing cycles.
17. When empty, never leave the carafe on the warming plate
otherwise the carafe is liable to crack.
18. This appliance comes equipped with an earthed plug. Please
ensure the wall outlet in your home is properly earthed.
19. Do not place a hot carafe on a hot or cold surface.
20. The appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given super-
vision or instruction concerning the safe use of the appliance
and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried
out by children unless they are 8 years of age or older and are
supervised.
21. Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children
under 8 years of age.
22. This appliance is intended for household use and similar
applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and
other working environments; farmhouses; by clients in hotels,
motels and other residential type environments; bed and
breakfast type environments.

BEFORE FIRST USE:
Check that all components are included and
that the appliance is not damaged. Pour water
into the water tank to the MAX level as indicated
on the water level gauge and brew water several
times without coffee, then discard the water.
Clean all detachable parts thoroughly with water.
