the square adapter is for ISDN service and the cable with the round
adapter is for analog service.
Locate the WaveRunner Port Monitor using Explorer
1.
Put your mouse pointer on the
Start
button in the lower left corner of your
screen.
2.
Click the RIGHT mouse. A menu appears.
3.
Click
Explore
. It normally starts up with the boot drive and the Windows
directory opened.
4.
Go down the Windows directory tree until you find the
Waverun
directory
and click on it.
5.
Locate the
WaveRunner Port Monitor
by its icon (Figure 2), a blue globe
with the text
ISDN
underneath.
6.
Double-click this icon to start the Port Monitor.

The Port Monitor starts up, initially as an empty dialog box (Figure 3).

Using the Port Monitor to Check Your ISDN Service
To check your ISDN service with the Port Monitor, follow the steps below.

Choose
Actions
to manually load the ISDN signaling programs.
2.
Select the line
Load D-channel Code When Port Monitor is Active
