enclosure.
It
contains

and
error
messages
along

suggested
actions

take
to
resolve
problems.

checkout
Use

indicator
lights,

provide
you
with
additional
diagnostic
aids.
Attention:
If
you
configure
a
storage
subsystem
with
a
DS4400
or
DS4500
(or
a
DS4300
without
internal
hard
disk
drives)
that
is
attached
to
DS4000
EXP710s
only
and
the
storage
expansion
enclosure
drives
fail
to
spin
up,
you
must
use
an
out-of-band
management
connection
to
verify
that
the
controller
firmware
level
is
at
6.10.xx.xx
or
higher.

your
operating
system
for
additional
information
on
establishing
an
out-of-band
management
connection.
If
the
firmware
version
is
correct,
