Suspend mode
When in standby mode, the following occurs:

The LCD backlight turns off.
v
The hard disk motor either spins down or stops
(controlled by OS).
v
Suspend LED turns on.

RTC alarm
v
Power-on switch is operated

Fn key is pressed
v
The LCD is opened (if the system entered standby
mode from closing the lid).

Anykey or mouse operation
Hibernation mode
When in hibernation mode, the following occurs:

The system status, RAM, VRAM, and setup data are
stored on the hard disk.

The system is powered off.
