probe,
check
for

less
resistance
between
the
metal
frame
and
the
grounding
pin
on
each
of
the
power
outlets
on

power
distribution
bus
(check
each
bus

there
are
multiple
buses).
c.
Check
for
the
following
conditions
for
each
external
device
that
has
an
attached
power
cord:
v
Damage
to
the
power
cord.
v
The
correct
grounded
power
cord.
v
With
the
external
power
cord
connected
to
the
device,
check
for
0.1
ohm
or
less
resistance
between
the
ground
lug
on
the
external
power
cord
plug
and
the
metal
frame
of
the
device.

Close
the
rear
cover
of
the
rack.

Perform
the
power-on
procedure
for
the
power
distribution
system
installed
in
your
rack.
