DC
Power
Distribution
Panel
A
dc
power
distribution
panel
can
be
installed
on
the
top
of
the
rack
to
distribute
-48
V
dc
power
to
the
drawers
and
devices
in
the
rack.
The
dc
power
distribution
panel
provides
separate
circuit
breakers
to
protect
each
drawer
in
the
rack
from
excess
current.
The
dc
power
distribution
panel
configurations
shown
in
this
book
are
for
example
purposes
only.
The
actual
dc
power
distribution
panel
installed
in
your
rack
may
vary
in
terms
of
circuit
breaker
ratings,
configurations,
and
connections
to
the
customer’s
dc
power
source.
The
power
distribution
panel
contains
a
connection
on
the
rear
of
the
panel
for
attaching
a
customer-supplied
power
alarm.
This
alarm
is
activated
when
any
circuit
breaker
is
tripped
or
is
switched
to
the
off
position.
The
circuit
breaker
is
a
single
pole,
single
toggle
handle
unit
with
stud
terminals,
UL,
CSA
and
VDE
approved,
black
with
″
on
″
and
″
off
″
markings,
and
dc
with
long
trip
delay.
It
is
on
when
the
handle
is
up,
and
it
is
off
when
the
handle
is
down.
