Disconnecting the SAN768B from the network and fabric
To disconnect the SAN768B from the network and fabric, complete these steps:
1.
Shut down the system by entering the
switchShutdown
command.

You are required to power-cycle the switch in order to restore operation.

Power off the chassis by flipping all ac power switches to the off position "

(the LEDs inside the clear plastic ac power switches should turn off).

Remove the power cords from the power supplies and the power outlets.
4.
Label the cables connected to all blades, if not already labeled, and record the
connections in the “Cable routing tables” on page 119, making extra copies as
needed.
5.
Disconnect all cables from the port blades and set them aside. Remove each
mSFP transceiver and cable as a unit. The SFP, SFP+, or XFP transceivers can be
left in the blades or removed.
