If the coprocessor does not appear in the list, continue with the “Verifying AIX
Software Installation”.
Verifying AIX Software Installation
To verify that the device driver for the coprocessor is installed, do the following:
1. Log in as root user.
2. At the AIX command line, type:
lslpp -l devices.pci.14109f00.rte
3. Press Enter. Possible results are:

If the coprocessor device driver is installed, text similar to the following displays:

Verify that the filesets devices.pci.14109f00.rte are at level 2.2.0.0 or higher. If
this information displays, but you continue to experience problems, go to
“Installing the Coprocessor” on page 13.

If no data displays, the coprocessor device driver did not install correctly. Go to
the appropriate software installation chapter, Chapter 2, “Installing the Device
Driver Software” on page 5 or Chapter 3, “Installing the Device Driver on the
RS/6000 SP System” on page 7, and then return to “Verifying Coprocessor
Hardware Installation” on page 14.

If you continue to experience problems with the software installation, call your
system support organization.
Running Coprocessor Diagnostics
Diagnostics are provided with the device driver software. If you must run diagnostics,
refer to your system documentation for instructions.
