Completing the Installation

Before you begin:

Complete all the installation procedures for the internal
options that you have chosen to install.

Read “Electrical Safety” on page 54.

1. Ensure that all components have been reassembled correctly and

that no tools or loose screws are left inside your server.

2. Clear any cables that might impede the replacement of the

cover.

3. Install the side cover:

a. Align the top and bottom cover tabs with the corresponding

notches on the frame of the server.

b. Slide the side cover to the rear, as shown in the following

illustration. Make sure that the cover is latched into
position.
