If
your
server
does
not
recognize
the
tape
drive
after
startup
or
if
you
receive
startup
errors,
run
the
Configuration/Setup
Utility
program
as
described
in
the
documentation
that
comes
with
your
server.
If
all
the
LEDs
on
the
front
panel
of
the
tape
drive
blink
in
unison,
there
is
a
problem
with
the
tape
drive.
Press
the
Unload
button
on
the
right
side
of
the
tape
drive
front
panel
to
eject
any
tape
that
might
be
inserted
and
to
reset
the
tape
drive.
If
the
problem
remains,
turn
the
server
off
and
on.

the
problem

“Troubleshooting”
on
page
14
for
more
information.
Installing
backup
and
restore
software
Use
the
backup
and
restore
function
that
is
provided
with
your
server,
or
install
a
separate
backup
and
restore
application
for
the
server
operating
system.

you
are
using
a

backup
and
restore
application,
follow
the
installation
instructions
that
come
with
the
application.

If
you
are
using
the
backup
and
restore
support
that
your
operating
system
provides
and
the
operating
system
requests
a
device
driver,
insert
the
Documentation
CD
and
look
in
the
device
driver
folder.

the
required
device
driver
is
not
included
on
the
Documentation
CD
,
go
to

and
search
for

or
DLTV4
for
a
list
of
new
and
updated
device
drivers.
