ibidi Heating System, Multi-Well Plates, K-Frame

• Immediately replace damaged cords, plugs, or cables to avoid risk of personal injury or damage

to the instrument.

• Only ibidi technical staff and technical staff instructed by ibidi are permitted to open and ser-

vice the ibidi Heating System, Multi-Well Plates, K-Frame.

• The external power supply should not be brought into contact with moisture. If the housing is

damaged, the external power supply should not be used.

• Avoid strong magnetic fields and sources of high frequency. The ibidi Heating System, Multi-

Well Plates, K-Frame might not function properly when located near a strong magnetic field or
high frequency source.

• Avoid vibrations from vacuum pumps, centrifuges, electric motors, processing equipment, and

machine tools.

• Avoid dust and corrosive gas. Do not install the ibidi Heating System, Multi-Well Plates, K-

Frame where it could be exposed to high levels of dust or to outside air or ventilation outlets.

• Install the ibidi Heating System, Multi-Well Plates, K-Frame in a horizontal and stable position,

such as a table, bench, or desk upon which the instrument is installed.

• Install the ibidi Heating System, Multi-Well Plates, K-Frame in a location that enables easy

access for maintenance.

• Do not place heavy objects on the instrument.

• The heated glass plates of the incubation chamber can break on mechanical impact. If so, the

glass shards can lead to injuries if handled.

• Be aware that when switched on, a 10 V DC voltage is applied to the underside of the glass on

the Heated Lid. Do not touch the underside or put it in contact with anything conductive. This
could cause a short circuit that may damage the Temperature Controller and/or the Heating
Devices.

Regulatory Statement

The ibidi Heating System, Multi-Well Plates, K-Frame has been designed, produced and tested in
compliance with the European standard DIN EN 61010-1 (IEC 61010-1, ”Safety requirements for
electrical equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use”). Furthermore it meets the IEC
61326-1 (”Electrical equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use - EMC requirements”)
and CISPR 11 (”International Standard for electromagnetic emissions (disturbances) from Industrial,
Scientific and Medical (ISM) Equipment”) standards .

The device carries the CE mark.

The ibidi Heating System, Multi-Well Plates, K-Frame meets the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU
and the
EMC Directive 2014/30/EC.
