Output channel as P switch
The circuit is designed as P switch (positive voltage).
The connected load Z

is connected to –U
ext
and switched on +U
ext
by means of the
controllable switch (load switch) in the output channel. In the figure below, you can see
this typical circuit.

Output channel as N switch
The circuit can also be realized as N switch (negative voltage).

Compared to the use as positive switch, no particularities have to be observed in opera-
tion.
